Our Story
Boneso & Harms was founded in 2016 by Derek Harms and Robby Boneso when they decided to purchase a water truck that could be sent out on the many California fires. After that initial investment, the brothers-in-law realized that there was a growing demand for a variety of trucking and transportation services in the Central Coast and beyond. Fast forward to today and Boneso & Harms has grown its fleet exponentially, now offering everything from water trucks to vineyard removal and large equipment hauling. The company remains family owned and operated in beautiful Paso Robles, California.
Derek Harms, Co-Owner & Partner
Derek Harms is the Co-Owner and Partner of Boneso & Harms LLC. Derek and his brother-in-law founded the company in 2016 after growing up in the Central Coast construction and agricultural industries. Derek leads the growing business by running all company Operations, often wearing many hats by driving trucks in the field and overseeing the logistics of a large fleet. If Derek isn’t on the phone serving clients or seeking new business opportunities, he’s spending quality time with his wife and two children who are actively involved in local sports.
Robby Boneso, Co-Owner & Partner
Robby Boneso, Co-Owner and Partner of Boneso & Harms LLC, started the company with his brother-in-law in 2016. Fast forward to today, the business is growing and expanding its service offerings under Robby’s leadership. Robby’s trade background in construction, mechanics, and plumbing, mixed with his experience with wine and viticulture, makes him a valuable asset to the business. Robby takes a hands-on approach to servicing clients, often spending time in the field and behind the wheel of a truck. Outside of work, Robby enjoys going to the desert and spending time with his wife and three children.
